Terms of Use

Last reviewed 14 October 2026

1. Who you are dealing with

This website is operated by the company that runs Reusswald at Seequai 14, 6003 Luzern, Switzerland, registered in the commercial register of the Canton of Lucerne and holding the cantonal licences required for its hotel, its restaurant and its gaming room. Using these pages means accepting what follows. If you do not accept it, please leave the site.

2. Adults only

These pages describe a gaming room that Swiss law restricts to persons aged 18 and over, and the site is written for an adult reader. Confirming your age on the home page is a condition of reading further. Please do not pass links from this site to anyone under 18.

3. No gaming is offered on this website

Nothing on this site can be played, staked, deposited, withdrawn or transferred. The site offers no software to download and has no accounts, wallets, balances or prizes. Everything described here takes place in a building in Lucerne, in person, during opening hours. Any page elsewhere on the internet that offers games in the name of this hotel is not ours, and we would be glad to hear of it.

4. Accuracy and status of these pages

We write these pages carefully and review them when something changes, but hours, rooms, menus, opening times and travel durations do alter. Nothing here is a guarantee, a quotation or an offer capable of acceptance. A reservation exists only once reception has confirmed it to you directly. No prices appear on this site, and where money is concerned the figure that counts is the one you are given at the desk.

5. Intellectual property

The text on this site was written for it, and together with the layout, the stylesheet and the drawn mark it belongs to the hotel. You may read, print and quote short passages with a reference back to the page. You may not copy the site wholesale, republish the text as your own, or present the hotel's name or mark as if the hotel endorsed you. The photographs are published under Creative Commons Zero or as public domain works; their own terms travel with them.

6. Links out

This site does not link to any other website. Every link on every page points inside this domain, apart from the telephone and electronic mail links, which open your own programmes. If a link to an outside site is added in future, we will have chosen it, but we will have no control over what it says afterwards and take no responsibility for it.

7. Conduct on the property

Inside the house, the rules are the hotel's. Guests and visitors are asked to dress as described on the relevant page, to keep telephones out of the dining room and the mezzanine, and to leave quietly after eleven, because people are asleep on five of the six floors. Staff may refuse entry to the gaming room or ask anyone to leave the building, without giving a reason, and in particular where a person is intoxicated, cannot produce identification, or behaves in a way that troubles other guests. Smoking is not permitted anywhere indoors.

8. Availability

The site is a set of static files and is normally available without interruption, but we do not promise that. It may be taken down for maintenance, moved between servers, or made unreachable by something outside our control. Parts of the world where this content may not lawfully be shown are blocked at the server, which is why a short notice is served to some visitors instead of the site.

9. Liability

To the extent Swiss law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from the use of this website, from reliance on information that has since changed, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intent, or for gross negligence, and nothing here affects the mandatory rights of a consumer.

10. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from the use of this website, are governed by Swiss law. The ordinary courts of the Canton of Lucerne have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory forum that applies to you as a consumer in the country where you live.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the head of this page records when they were last reviewed, and the version in force is the one published here when you read it.
